X-SAMPA CVVC English
I struggle using other methods such as Cz-Sampa, ARPAbet, among others that also exist somewhere. In order for me to understand English UTAU better, I set off to make a reclist that is easy for me to record and a system that is easy for me to use. It has been through many iterations, but the most recent reclist has been the ultimate version of what I spent the better half of a decade developing. Anyway, for those of you who are better with Vocaloid English than UTAU English, Peiton should make for a pretty easy transition to a different vocal synth. Though there are some differences in aliases, it should be pretty straight-forward.
The lovely community developing OpenUTAU phonemizers and such has been so kind to Peiton's existence and thus the X-Sampa phonemizer developed by Lotte V works very well with this reclist format. A custom dictionary by @deadbyte on Twitter is being developed to take advantage of vowels that otherwise do not load in by default.
There are two different versions of the official reclist as well as an unofficial 2-mora variant. Below are all versions and all the ways they are different from each other:
